A second single has finally been released by Greta Van Fleet. This single in mention is Age of Machine. At first listening to this new single it felt of a mash between Age of Man and Brave New World with Josh's vocals wailing in the background and dark guitar riffs similar to Brave New World. Once you continue to listen to full single you begin to be transported to a world in your imagination as the band take you on a trip. The lyrics in the song are very powerful and capture you into the message the band is putting across which can be interpreted anyway the listener wants. The new single Age of Machine as well as My Way, Soon have shown the progression of the band as musicians as they improve their skills. With the announcement of the new single Age of Machine the band has also announced their second album The Battle at Garden's Gate. With a title like that it starts to make you wonder what this full album could sound like. With two singles already been released and believe two more will be released in the future called Heat Above and Broken Bells, have made the fans of the ban very excited for this album. My Way, Soon was a great entry to this new album showing a new sound the guys are using to show the true Greta Van Fleet, but not leaving what we really brought them to fame which was the classic blues rock. But the song that does take the position of possibly being the Holy Grail is Age of Machine. This song resembles Greta Van Fleet and shows how big sounding the band actually can be. If the rest of the songs on the album have the same feel as Age of Machine, I believe the band will grow even bigger than they are. If you haven't listened to the new single, I definitely recommend giving it a listen (video down below).

The highly anticipated album of Greta Van Fleet looks to be a longer wait than we thought. Due to the latest pandemic the album looks to be postponed as in this time releasing an album wouldn't have much drive as it would have if talk shows were still functioning properly. With this happening us in the fandom are still waiting for it no matter how long it would take, all that we know at this time is that it's definitely going to be different to Anthem of the Peaceful Army but still stick to the Greta Van Fleet sound that we all fell in love with. So once this COVID-19 gets resolved we will then start to hear from the band about a new album and single. But another rumored item that is supposed to be coming out in late spring early summer is the DVD/BLU-RAY recorded performance at Red Rocks. This was thought to be released early this year but it looks to be released late May early June. In the mean time as we wait for the new album and DVD we can still listen to the latest single "Always There" (linked below) and re listen to past performances and the EP's and Debut Album. The release of Greta Van Fleet: The Story of the Band from Frankenmuth has finally been released, it has taken a lot of time and preparation to collection of the video clips that were required to complete this min film/documentary. there was a bit of delay as it was promised early this year but the interview that were needed weren't uploaded yet and the guys hadn't won their Grammy at the time. But it's finally here, I really hope that you enjoy the documentary that we made for every member of The Peaceful Army, and I recommend using this video to help you introduce a friend, family member or even a random person to Greta Van Fleet and this video will hopefully give people some basic knowledge on how Greta Van Fleet came together and what they're all about. The link to the Full Video and the trailer is placed below. |
